Confessions from the vinyl closet

Some records I've bought recently. In no particular order.

Plastic Bertrand - J'te fais un plan

(Rather forgettable album. A couple of okay tunes, but nothing as good as the evergreen "Ça Plane Pour Moi" on this one.)

The 1910 Fruitgum Company - Hard Ride

(Quasi-psychedelic bubblegum with hints of hard rock and funk. In other words, just great!)

Electric Blue Peggy Sue And The Revolutionions From Mars - You Tell Me That's Evolutionion

(Should dig out my tape of "Music For McDonald's" one of these days as well. Notice the nod to The Beatles on the title.)

Radiopuhelimet - Rokkiräjähdys

(More noisy rock from Oulu.)

Iggy Pop & James Williamson - Kill City

(On white wax!)

The Jesus And Mary Chain - Barbed Wire Kisses (B-Sides And More)

(The CD version has more tunes. Too Bad.)

Hortus Musicus - From X-XII Centuries Yugoslavian Manuscripts & German Early Baroque Dance Music

(Haven't listened these properly yet.)

Uuno Klami - Kalevala-sarja/Tseremissiläinen fantasia

Eric Burdon And The Animals - Winds Of Change (Mono)

(Already got the stereo version of this, but it doesn't have the gatefold cover with Burdon's ramblings inside.)

Vanilla Fudge - s/t

John Barry - Goldfinger OST

Steve Hillage - Kamikaze Eyes 7"

+ Bonus Beats: The Jazz Composer's Orchestra - s/t (A cd.)

I've also been listening lots of ABBA recently.
