The act of DDR Rhythm consisted of mixing live instruments and programmed backround tapes. The percussionist played both vibraphone and conga drums. Occasionally he jumped up and down with real enthusiasm and achieved a good laugh from the crowd. The tunes were introduced in a foolish Serbo-Croatian manner. Despite all this, DDR Rhythm was no humour band but tempted lots of people to the dance floor with their totalitarian groove.
