YOU CALLED 80'S ITALO MUSIC CHEESE. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO YOU THINK LAID THE GROUNDWORK FOR HOUSE MUSIC AND ELECTRONICA? I DO BELIEVE IT WOULD BE THE " CHEESY " ITALO ARTISTS OF THE 80'S. I LIVE IN CHCIAGO WHERE HOUSE AND ACID MUSIC WAS BORN AND IN MY OPINION THERE WOULD BE NO HOUSE IF IT WAS NOT FOR ITALO DISCO. DO YOU NOT AGREE? IF NOT, I'D LOVE TO HEAR YOUR ARGUMENT.
IF YOU ARE A PART OF THE NEW GENERATION OF DANCE FANS YOUR SENSE OF HISTORY IS DISTORTED. ASIDE FROM THAT, THE CLASSIC ITALO SONGS FROM THE 80'S NEVER WENT AWAY AND WILL BE REMEMBERED TEN YEARS FROM NOW BECAUSE THEY REPRESENT GOOD SONG WRITING. MOST OF THE SONGS OF TODAYS ELECTRONICA ARE NOT SONGS AT ALL, MOST PEOPLE IN THE GENERAL POPULATION CANT NAME ONE OF THEM, AND NO ONE WILL EVER PLAY THEM AGAIN IN ABOUT TWO MONTHS AFTER THEYVE BEEN RELEASE. PLEASE RESPOND.
P.S. KRAFTWERK, SOULSONIC FORCE, AND TELEX ARE ALSO OLD SCHOOL AND THE LAST I REMEMBER THEYRE NOT FROM FINLAND!

Hi,

I think you're taking too seriously my comment which was only meant humorous :) Funk, disco (yes, also Italodisco), synthpop, ambient, industrial, dub reggae: all these contributed to the birth of electronica.

And pHinnWeb is not only about Finnish music :)
